My Project

With Mother’s Day fast approaching and the weather changing, I want to help my first graders learn about the environment while creating a fun gift for mom!

We will plant flowers, care for them, and watch them grow!

Then we will decorate the pots and send them home.

This is not only a fun project for our class to work on as the weather changes, but it will also help us learn about the life cycle of plants.

The students see my own plants daily in the classroom: this is a chance to have their own!
