Floral Summer Fun!

Help me give my students the opportunity to plant and grow their own flowers!

This project is fully funded

My Project

My students in the third grade love to learn about their environment. They have an immense interest in the plants and animals that can be found around them. I would love to provide them with the opportunity to plant and care for their very own plant over summer break. The students will be able to place soil within their individual pots and plant seeds that will sprout into flowers that can attract butterflies. The plant markers will allow me the students to label their plants. The journals will allow students to take note of how their plants are growing and include diagrams and written observations.

The binoculars will allow students to participate in bird watching and insect observation.

The animal lego sets will include an element of fun. The crocheted food items will further student understanding about plants, such as fruits and vegetables. The stress balls will support students that feel anxious if their plants are slow growers. This summer project will demonstrate to my students how much I care for them even though they may not be physically attending school.
