My Project

My amazing and hard-working first graders had the opportunity to transition into a flexible seating arrangement this school year! Each of my 26 students are unique in their learning styles and express themselves differently. The ability to move, promote oxygen and blood flow, as well as maintain core stability has helped with my student's attention and focus tremendously. The one thing we are missing is the inclusion of floor seating. Adding donut seats and floor cushions will help those kiddos who need support with spine curvature and proper posture which will have a positive long-term effect on their bodies in addition to supporting their academic growth!
