This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class is in need of two more floor rockers so that there are enough seats at a table closer to the ground. Students work in small groups throughout the day but we are missing two chairs to have a complete set for a group. These chairs will allow students to hold conversations and pair-share their ideas.

We are also requesting a dry erase board for small group instruction.

We do blending and dictation lessons during small groups but right now we don't have a board big enough for these lessons. Students also come up to the board to spell words with the spelling pattern we are working with at the time. This tool will help support reading and writing instruction.
