This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy completing small puzzles we have in our classroom; however, I know they would love the opportunity to complete large floor puzzles. Floor puzzles would make a great addition to our classroom. These large floor puzzles will promote my students' problem solving skills, decision making, collaboration, communication skill, fine motor, hand-eye coordination, among many other areas of their development. In addition, the large puzzles I have selected give my students a fun way to learn about insects, ocean animals, the alphabet, and people. I would love to introduce my students to floor puzzles which I know they will have a blast putting together. Lastly, the storage boxes will be used to store these puzzles as well as other classroom supplies.
