My Students
Our first and second graders in room 128 are energetic, enthusiastic, and super social. They are so enjoyable to be around. They love being involved in the learning process and want to succeed.
Learning never stops!
Our school is located in northwest Milwaukee. Most of our families struggle with poverty, which creates difficulties in having supplies needed for learning at school and home. Our goal is to provide an equitable education for each student by using DonorsChoose to be able to have the resources and supplies needed for them to reach their full potential.
My Project
I am a first and second grade teacher trying to provide flexible and safe seating options. This exciting option would make partner and small group work easier to assemble and spread learners around the classroom. Sitting on the floor is neither comfortable or safe for our learners, but floor cushions would make it an awesome option. The cushions would truly bring more life and joy to our classroom. The learners would be so excited to use them daily. Please consider this project, as it will make seating in room 128 safe, comfortable, and also fun!
