Flocabulary: A Modern Way of Learning

My Students

Our 6th grade students are from very diverse backgrounds. Many of them are from different parts of the world, especially the Middle East. These students have left their homes to come to America for a better life. At our school, our goal is to give them that better life.

Our group of 6th grade students is more compassionate than you would think.

They stand up for one another even though they have their ups and downs. We are one big family who supports and cares for one another even through the tough times.

My Project

Flocabulary is an online instructional site which is an effective educational tool for learning. Students love interacting on Chromebooks, and using Flocabulary will be beneficial to them.

Not only will students get to interact with technology, but they will also be able to improve their academic and typing skills, too.

Flocabulary provides topics from science all the way to current events and life skills. Students will be able to watch videos, practice newly learned skills, reflect on quizzes that are taken and learn about what is going on in our community.

Flocabulary may be a fun tool, but it is truly academic based. This program will help our 6th graders gain the life skills they need to be successful people as well as improve their academics.
