My Project
Hello, generous donors! My name is Ms. Buggs, and I am the Library Media Specialist at a school in Atlanta, Georgia. As we prepare for the 2025-2026 school year, I am seeking your support to purchase four copies of the books needed for the district book competitions.
Reading is the foundation of learning, and having access to engaging, high-quality literature helps students develop critical thinking skills, empathy, and a lifelong love for reading.
Students who participate in the reading bowl further challenge themselves by competing against their peers across the school district. These students also strengthen their literacy and comprehension skills while learning teamwork and collaboration.
With your support, I hope to purchase this diverse and inclusive collection of literature so that students will excel in the reading competitions, improve their literacy skills, and develop a passion for books that will last a lifetime. Following the competition, these books will be added to the school's library collection.
