Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Cooperative groups have proven to get every child in my classroom involved and engaged in learning in my divergent first grade classroom. There are multiple learning styles and abilities in my class and they all love to get in cooperative groups. Often times however, I can not create games and activities fast enough to keep up with the excitement of my students. Lakeshore Learning has done the hard work for me. There awesome flipcharts I am requesting will cause my students to "flip out" with excitement while learning to count money, study geometric shapes, solve word problems, and telling time. All of these charts can be used in cooperative group settings or for whole class instruction to maximize student learning. The flipcharts will also be great to conduct individual performance assessments of student learning. Help my students to flip out with excitement by funding this proposal.
