My students need flash drives to access videos about class content at home in a flipped classroom environment.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"The mere imparting of information is not education." The traditional classroom does not satisfy the educational needs of all students since the teacher is not being utilized effectively.
I want to create a flipped classroom environment in which my students are listening to my lectures and taking notes in a home environment.
In addition, students can review and listen to my video lectures as often as they need to in order to get the most from the video lectures. In class, they can ask specific questions that they may still have questions about.
Most students do not need face-to-face interaction to "gather information". Instead, students need help in applying the knowledge they gain from the lectures. With a flipped classroom, time spent in the classroom will be dedicated to applying knowledge instead of lecturing. Thus, students will get help where it is needed.
My Project
The videos will be made available to students via online. However, not all students have unlimited Internet access at home. For these students, I will like to be able to put the video lectures on a flash drives that the students may borrow and take home to review thereby equalizing the learning opportunity for most of the students.
By flipping my classroom, I can now assign the "easy" part of learning (which is listening to lectures) as homework, and work with students on the more difficult task (applying the knowledge and skill).
However, flipping my classroom will not work if all students do not have access to the video lectures. With these flash drives, I can create an equal footing for all of my students thereby creating a level playing fields for all students.
