Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. C.B W P is located in Warner Robins, GA near Warner Robins Air Force Base. The majority of our students are on free and reduced breakfast and lunch. I am a firm believer that their should not and will not determine their potential.

My Project

FlexTech Classroom here we come! The donations for this project will improve my classroom by increasing students' attentiveness, because each student will be able to be in their choice seating to do their best learning and be the most engaged. Flexible seating will help my students who need a more relaxed feel in the classroom. My little wiggle worms will love the stools and exercise ball.

Technology is becoming huge in education!

My students need technology access to increase reading literacy through differentiated online practice tools. The echo dot and tablets will help my students explore and learn at the same time.
