My Students

I love my students like they are my very own children. They are my reason. Working with children is one of the greatest gifts life can offer. They bring joy, laughter, and lots of LOVE! My students come from various backgrounds and cultures.

Unfortunately, many of them do come from low-income families, fighting against poverty and survival on a daily basis.

We are a Title I school. Over 90% of the students are on free/reduced-price lunch. School is a second home for them, a place they don't have to worry about anything. No matter who they are and where they come from, they find love in our class. We are a family. We spread the love and joy each year at a time.

My Project

Students learn best when they are given the right tools and environment. A space that promotes engagement and comfort makes for a successful student. The flex space seating will provide four comfy floor seats that can be adjusted and moved and a circle table that adjusts to the height of the floor seats. This area will be used for a response to reading center . The students will be able to enjoy a good book in a relaxed setting and have the ability to complete their work on the table adjusted to the height of the seat.

Students feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment.

Flexible seating allows students to choose where they work and with whom. It also allows them to change their location and positions as needed. Thank you for your support!
