My students need more options for flexible seating in our classroom. They are much more focused when they are comfortable while working. The Wobble chairs will give my students a better chance to be more comfortable!
I teach 1st grade in a rural school that has more than 70% of students that receive free/ reduced lunch. I have recently implemented a few different seating options in my classroom. My students are feeling even more eager to learn now that they are more comfortable in their “ spot” around the classroom. To differentiate and better reach all of my student’s abilities, we spend majority of our day in small groups around the classroom. My students have become fluent readers and in that process have learned to love reading!
My Project
My students are extraordinary and unique in their own ways, therefore their seating choices should mirror just that. I have recently added a few seating options for my students. My students are already way more excited about this change. These materials that I am requesting will help my students so much by allowing my students to be more independent, more comfortable, and also making them more responsible in choosing their flexible spot that will better suit them. The wobble seats, beans bags, and wobble cushions will make my students look forward to coming into class every single day in an exciting way.
