My Students

My Kindergarten students are an amazing group of learners. We have a very diverse population of students-both culturally and economically.

They continue to impress me each and every day with their hard work and dedication to becoming the best learners they can be.

Kindergarten is an amazing grade to teach since there is such a diverse level of abilities.

My students this year are no exception to that. They inherently mentor each other on a daily basis without any prompting from me. They are so supportive of each other.

My Project

In my classroom, I like to offer the opportunity for different seating options to help those students that have difficulty sitting still. Additionally, through the use of wobble stools and stability balls, students are building core muscles that are lacking in so many young children today.

My students will have the choice of where they sit each day to achieve their best learning.

I want them to have many options to choose from. The wobble stools, stability balls, and Bouncy Bands will be a good start for them to begin learning how to make a good choice in their seating to learn.
