Flexible seating gives students a choice in how they learn best and doesn't fit them in to a standardized learning environment. Every year I try my very best to give my kiddos the resources they need to be successful. This next year, my plan is to have as few desks as possible in the room with multiple flexible seating options to fit the differences in learning styles.
Based on research and my experience, students are more engaged when they have a choice in how they learn!
Flexible seating, such as these giant pillows, allows students to get their wiggles out as well as allowing them to move around while working or learning. Movement is just necessary for some students and this is a safe way for them to do that.
Thank you for thinking of my kiddos and helping me to give them the best experience possible.
