The students that have walked through my door, have walked into my heart. I love how vivacious and hardworking they are day in and day out. Teaching 3rd grade has been a wonderful experience. We love learning and laughing together every day! During our weather and climate unit, students were challenged to make structures that would keep a family safe with given materials. It was amazing to see how they worked together to come up with some very innovative ways to keep them safe!
My Project
Flexible Seating can be very beneficial to students and a classroom. It allows students some choice as to where they will be able to work best and helps promote self-advocacy. It enhances learning by providing choice and comfort when students are working independently or collaboratively. The items I’ve asked for are wobble stools, bean bag chairs, stability balls, and comfy floor seats. These items will help students to move to various areas throughout the day and help them stay engaged and be active learners. Our classroom and students would love having more choice to stayed engaged and committed to learning. It would help the wide range of learners in our classroom and it would be FUN! Please help support our classroom with this very important initiative. Thank you!!!
