This year, I am teaching the most exuberant and entertaining bunch that I have ever come across. My kids have such a joy for learning and life itself. Every day is a new adventure with these kids. Our school is a Title I school in IN.
Our classroom is primarily made up of 25 students, many of those come from bilingual households and qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
These elementary students do not let their outside struggles define or taint their future.
My Project
Classrooms have changed in recent years. Children are no longer expected to sit in desks all day and memorize data. New classrooms create a thriving atmosphere for creativity and inquiry.
This project provides my second graders with a more flexible environment to learn.
These Flex Space Comfy Floor seats will be step one in creating a flexible seating classroom. This allows for my students to choose a comfortable seat every morning when they enter the classroom. Each day the students will choose a different seat to call their workspace. These seats will help provide the students with more interactive spaces to support learning.
