My Project

I have been using Reflex Math, thanks to DonorsChoose.org, in my classroom for two school years now. The math fact progress my students have made has been apparent in how they approach math lessons and in other various formats. I have taught for 23 years, and the years I have used Reflex Math are the years my students have known their math facts on demand the most. When they know their math facts, we can spend more time going deeper and less time on fact acquisition.

Reflex Math is everything it advertises to be!

For the 2023-2024 school year, I am teaming up with another teacher who loves this program. It's an expensive program, and the cost of the two of us doing it for another year is roughly 2/3 of what a site license for all of our teachers. Currently, our subscriptions benefit nearly 40 students. A site license would benefit roughly 300 students.

This program engages students through a game format and has built-in motivators to encourage them to keep going and progressing. Teachers can assign addition and subtraction, as well as multiplication and division. Teachers have access to a variety of reports to plan instruction, and it's also wonderful data for providing support to students. The kids are motivated to "get their green lights," their daily practice goal, and very often, beg to do more.

It can be accessed at both school and at home. I have tried Xtra Math, IXL, Freckle Fact Fluency, and many others, but none of these programs offer the engagement, the variety, or the depth that Reflex Math does.

I'm beyond eager to help my fellow teachers have access to this amazing program whose results are deeper and go beyond any program I have ever used.
