This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm excited to start a new adventure this year teaching a group of 1st and 2nd graders together. The students are so friendly, are such a joy to teach and watch them grow. This school focuses on science and technology, and I can't wait to guide them through a year of curiosity and building a classroom community that supports each other inside and outside of the classroom. This is a magical gem of a school and has a different way they supply classrooms with materials. These materials make a difference in their learning because it ensures that all students have the school supplies, they need in order to be successful in the classroom.
They will use the stools during small group time where they can learn while still being able to move their bodies.

This lessens the burden on families to get supplies as well as our school whose budget was just cut due to our state's budget. Your donation would be providing our class with the necessary supplies to start the year strong!
