My Students

This classroom of students LOVE to try new things!! We have recently been discussing classroom seating (flexible) as rewards. The students are real bookworms and enjoy reading in class but do not have comfy seating to read. These students are eager to learn and focused on learning. They enjoy being on their best behavior to earn points for Class Dojo and earning rewards. The students would like to have a cozy area to read and enjoy their favorite classroom reading counts books to take their quiz and pass to earn a reward!!

My Project

Flexible seating is something that I wish to try in class as a center and small group for the classroom before making flexible seating throughout the entire classroom. I would love to see if this will help those students who fidget and need to be moving a little bit while they are working on their work. This will be able to help those students stay focused on their work and excited to go to the centers with the flexible seating!

The big chairs will also be used as rewards in the classroom for those students with excellent behaviors.

Who would not want to sit in a blow up chair for the day?! I know my first graders will!
