Small group work is an essential part of learning in Third Grade. We have small group work across all subjects during the day. Since small group work is happening often in the classroom, there needs to be a designated space for it to occur.

We need a standing desk and stools.
In my classroom, there are a wide range of learners. Some students prefer to learn sitting, while others prefer to learn while standing. With this adjustable desk, there will be the option for both! Students working in small groups will have the option to stand or sit using the stools provided. Additionally, during independent work, students who would prefer to stand will have the standing desk available for use.
