Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I am in a 1st-3rd grade Autism classroom. My students are unique in their own individual ways! Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them.
My students all have different learning styles and flexible seating could help with not only their learning, but also their sensory needs.
My students benefit from having option areas to complete work. They sometimes work at one big work table, on the floor with clipboards, or at their own individual table. I want to make sure my students are accessing their learning in ways that are comfortable for them, and flexible seating will really help with that!
