My Project

I am looking forward ways to offer my students flexible seating in music class. I want to make my classroom even more inviting and to make music even more exciting! Currently, my students sit on the hard wood stage floor and it’s very uncomfortable. I want my students to feel comfortable and safe in music class. I am requesting a variety of options including cushions, bean bag chairs, and stools. All flexible seating will be used as incentive for good choices and behavior. Some of my student’s struggle with sitting still and like to wonder, so this could be a tool to help them focus on learning. Students who exhibit school wide and classroom expectations in music will have first choice of flexible seating for their next music class.
