My Project
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping bring flexible seating options—such as wiggle stools, floor cushions and other adaptive furniture—into our learning space.
Research and classroom experience both show that flexible seating can greatly improve student engagement, focus, and self-regulation.
At this age, students are full of energy and curiosity, and their bodies often need movement just as much as their minds need stimulation. Having access to alternative seating choices allows children to find what works best for their learning style—whether that means sitting on a cushion on the floor, using bands, or gently moving on a wobble stool.
These tools aren’t just about comfort—they’re about equity. Flexible seating supports students with different sensory needs, helps them build independence, and encourages a sense of ownership over their learning.
