Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students at my school all come from very diverse backgrounds, some have never been to a public school until they moved here. Getting used to sitting still for long periods of times is a challenge.
In my classroom this year I would like to try what I call a focus corner, where students can grab their clipboards and have a seat on the beanbag chair so that they may refocus their attention on their assignment.
The pencils come in handy because I am one of those teachers that believes that no student should have to worry about having a pencil.
