This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to add some flexible seating options in my classroom. Kids love to move and use different seating options. Students would be able to choose between stability balls, wobble stools, and wobble cushions. I think this would help students stay focused in class.
It is unrealistic for students to be expected to sit in the same seat for hours.
Having some different options might help them focus better and have a positive effect on their learning.
My school is over 80% free and reduced lunch with a high population of Spanish speakers. I believe making the classroom more fun and inviting would make learning more interesting and fun.
