My Project

Help me give my students flexible seating! I am a new teacher who started in January after graduating and I am working to improve my classroom environment. One of my main goals is to have flexible seating options for students. Having a rug large enough for all students, wobble cushions, and bands for their chairs will help me grow my flexible seating options in the classroom and improve their learning environment.

I have several 3rd graders with sensory needs, who would benefit from flexible seating.

Since getting the job in December, I have worked several long days in the classroom trying my best to make the classroom a great place for my students to learn and grow. Doing this on a teacher (and recent college graduate) budget, has been difficult, but worth it. When they returned in January to a new teacher and a "like new" room, their reactions were worth every penny spent. Now, after getting to know my students better after several months, I have learned that many would benefit from flexible seating with their sensory needs.

To continue to benefit my students this year and future students, I am asking for donations to improve seating options in the classroom. This is a large goal of mine that I hope you can help me with! Anything helps and I appreciate it greatly.
