My Project

Having different seating options and a rug for my classroom will encourage students to find what works for their learning. Students love flexible seating options! As an English Teacher, I love having options for students during independent work. When students have comfortable or fun spots to sit, they get more excited to learn and work.

While some students work great at a desk, others prefer different seating options.

Although these seem to be "for fun", they also have functional purposes. For students who like to sit on the floor, a rug is always a great option because tile is not comfortable to work on. Wobble seats will allow more active learners to stay focused while also having something to balance on. Finally, the lap desk allows students to comfortable work on assignments while also being more comfortable on the floor.
