Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some of my students are dealing with poverty, hard situations at home, and other various behavior disorders. They have big emotions and big feelings. Sometimes it's difficult for them to regulate those feelings and sit at an uncomfortable desk. I want my students to begin learning about making good choices for themselves and help them learn to be responsible for their learning with flexible seating options.

The materials table and chairs will be used to provide a safe, warm environment in which all students in need will receive help on how to deal with stress, anxiety, and trauma.

The goal is for students to receive the help they need immediately to maximize classroom instructional time. Please help me transform our space into a safe and quiet place for all the students at my school to de-stress!
