My Project

Implementing flexible seating is very beneficial for early childhood classrooms. I plan to use these flexible seating options in my classroom to promote academic performance for my students with sensory needs. Flexible seating options provide a sensory input which will increase engagement.

The bean bag seat and the floor seat will provide my students with a comfortable and welcoming environment where they can engage in story time.

The spinning chair will allow my students to have an outlet to release energy and wiggles when needed. Finally, the chair pocket storage will keep my students materials organized and minimize distractions.
