This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am in the process of switching out students desks for tables. My third graders have voiced their preferences in flexible seating around the classroom. The few tables that I have in my room are preferred seating choices for my entire class. I would love to be able to provide my students with one more table that way more students can get their preferred seating choice daily!
A rectangular table will allow me to set up an open concept learning environment.
Students love being able to work together in new spots around the room. Having rectangular tables will give me the flexibility to move the tables around and create fun and exciting spaces for third graders have the most success with their learning.
I love seeing my students work together, collaborate with each other and be excited about their learning. This table would be the perfect update to our classroom community! Stackable stools allow students to take their seats where they work best.
