This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The cushions will join the bean bags we have in class to allow the students to select what type of flexible seating may benefit them. When we are doing work that allows it, we will allow students to select where they want to sit, and who they want to sit with. As space is limited, this often occurs against walls along the perimeter of the classroom or even in the hallway.
These cushions will provide comfort for students who sit in a small group as space is such a concern.
We have been sitting on the floors in the corners of the classroom or in the hallway. Having a cushion will be awesome!!!
