Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Not every child is the same! Some children need different types of seating. Our students need to feel comfortable and have options to sit and learn. We are familiar with the regular and basic chairs, but there is much more.
Our students will enjoy having a beanbag in our library—a cozy place to read and retell stories.
Our library also is a calming center, so having flex sitting will let our students relax.
We also need two floor chairs. We have to; they have been great experiences because our students can be comfortable using math manipulatives.
