it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The classroom can often times be a place where students do not want to be, but becomes a necessity that they have to "endure". As a small group special education teacher I strive to make my classroom a warm and welcoming environment that creates a place that students want to be, where they feel "safe" and prepared. I strive to make my classroom an extension of my home, inviting, fun, friendly, warm. With these ideas in mind I also want to help provide space for students who need a different atmosphere of seating. Providing standing desks, lap desks, and comfy chairs will help allow students to feel safe, comfortable, and willing to learn!
