My Project

Every day we ask students to sit in uncomfortable chairs with the only opportunity for movement being the time between classes. This does not lead to students who are ready to put their best selves forward to learn. To help my students learn best, some need different seating options available to them. These different seating options can give students more choices in the classroom and make them feel welcome in their learning environment. This leads to them feeling more in control and safer; which can only improve learning.

Many of us like to move and feel comfortable while we work, traditional school chairs don't allow for this.

Additionally, many of my chairs are falling apart. By providing my students with new seating options health class can become an environment where they are ready and excited to learn in.
