My Project

My students are sent to Camelot (Achieve) East after being placed on disciplinary transfers from their neighborhood schools. Most of them are behind in reading, come from challenging backgrounds, and have social-emotional needs that make it difficult for them to stay on-task in class.

Adding flexible seating to my classroom will help create a safe and welcoming environment that keeps kids calm and comfortable while they read.

Keeping kids calm and comfortable will set them up for success by helping them stay focused, learn to love reading, and reach their full potential as students!
