This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating promotes active learning. 1st graders are natural thinkers and explorers in their education, and sitting at a desk on a chair for an extended amount of time can distract them from their learning. Flexible seating allows students to wiggle their bodies yet, think and explore while learning in their fundamental content areas, such as reading, writing, social studies, and science, from the comfort of their desks. Each wobble seat and bouncy ball seat will be used to provide my students with flexible seating options that will enhance and promote their learning abilities.
