This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students learn better in a comfortable, welcoming environment. In shifting from traditional desks to a flexible seating approach, I've noticed my students take ownership of their learning, my students feel more comfortable collaborating and working with their peers and I see an overall excitement to come to school each day.
I would like to create a space where my students can move freely, feel empowered by being able to make choices about their environment, and allow students to discover where and how they work best.
I am very excited to fully transition from a traditional style of seating to a flexible one. Thank you for helping me give my students a comfortable and motivating space to work!
