Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our level 1 school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment. As a result, we are consistently sending our eighth graders to selective enrollment schools every year. The students are responsible for their own learning, which also prepares them for the future.

Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college, as well as their future careers!

The students will benefit from these resources to help them connect with the world around them.

My Project

My students have gone from being remote and having freedom to move as they please to being at a desk all day. My students always have a chance to move to a place where they can be most successful but I don't have a ton of other options besides desks.

Flexible seating caters to the needs of a lot of my students.

Having different options around the classroom can help the transition from remote to back in person.

Having this seating can help ALL my students have more freedom to express the way they learn.
