My Students
As a school community, we strive to inspire learning and discover passions within our students. We hope to instill in our students a growth mindset, a sense of ALOHA for themselves, their families, and their community, and foster a love of learning.
I teach 21 amazing keiki that are so excited to be back in school.
Of those 21, one is an English learner and three receive resource services. Together we are learning, growing, and paving a path towards a successful future.
My Project
The stools that I am requesting for this project will provide my students another flexible seating option in the classroom. Currently, the chairs that we have are rather large and can be bulky and cumbersome to move around the room. I'm hoping that the stools will help to provide an easier and more efficient seating option for my students, especially when they are working in small groups or with a partner.
Your donation to this project will help me to give my students more choice in their seating.
This in turn builds independence and gives my students voice in allowing them to choose what they need to help them learn best. We will use the stools during small group instruction and when students are working in collaborative teams on various tasks.
