Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are in grades 3-5. All come from lower-income households, and 90% are second language learners. After being on zoom learning for 15 months, they super happy to be back in the classroom with their friends. They are motivated and ready to learn with flexible seating.
My Project
My intervention students come for 45 min sessions. The flexible seating alternatives will allow students with extra attention and sensory processing difficulties to optimize their learning. The ottomans and colorful stools will let my students reach their full potential while comfortable and having adjustable seats.
Please help my students have the opportunity to have an inviting, fun, and comfortable environment.
This will help them take ownership of their learning as they will have choice and flexibility in their seating and have a beautiful classroom they will take pride in.
