This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is a warm and inviting space where all students are encouraged to try their best and use their unique colors in ways that teach others.

My students don't have disabilities, but rather, each one of them has unique abilities that color the world around them. They are inspirations to the staff and peers within our school community. My students are enthusiastic about learning and want to try their best.

My Project

Students in my classroom utilize flexible seating for their learning. Flexible seating allows them to move while they are learning and choose a seat in the classroom that benefits them the most. Because of this, they do not have assigned seats or assigned desks. Students will use fidgets, such as push pop sensory toys to fidget while they are learning as well.

These flexible seating and fidget options will provide students with the outlet they need to focus on learning.

Students will have a variety of ways to feel comfortable while learning.
