My Students

Each of my students are unique, they learn differently and at varied speeds. I love finding ways to meet their individual needs and bring them to the next level in their learning. My students make me laugh and bring joy to my life. The children in my class are creative, inspiring, and so much fun!

There is not a day that goes by that I do not learn from my students.

Teaching is much more than just textbooks and state standards. In my classroom students learn how to be responsible, respectful, caring, and hard working. In the best educational environments, life lessons are learned just as much as academic lessons.

My Project

Children learn best when they are involved in their learning. They also need to move! When we do center rotations students have the ability to participate in various stations and we need more options for flexible seating when working in our rotations. Flexible seating allows students to get out of their desks. Flexible seating will help them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking. Rather than focusing on how uncomfortable they are, students can focus more on the learning objectives. The Flex Space Comfy Floor Seats will provide alternative seating for students. Teachers who have used flexible seating state that their students' grades improved after introducing flexible seating into their classrooms.
