Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We have a very diverse group of students at our school. I teach students who come from low income families. I love my students and forming relationships with all of them but it does not come without it's challenges. Everyday we face a new challenge and have to adjust to meet the needs of the students.

Teaching these students brings purpose and light to my life.

I know I am making a difference in their lives every day. They all need to be loved and cared for.

My Project

I would love to add some flexible seating options for my students. They love to sit all over the room and I would love to give them some other comfortable options. I would love to get some bean bags, lap desks, and chair bands for students to move while still paying attention. I try to make my classroom as calm and comfortable as I possibly can and this would be a wonderful addition to my room. I know there are many other options for flexible seating but this is my first go at attempting it. Thank you for your support on this endeavor.
