My Students

Our school is located in a rural area in New York. Grades pre-k through 12th are all in one building. There is one teacher per grade so as students progress grades they are with their same classmates. I would like to make their educational experience as special as possible. They love being able to interact with one another in a positive learning environment. They are creative, kind, and hardworking. It's important for students to love school at a young age.

My Project

Having these additional seating options for the students will allow students to work around the classroom more comfortably. Not all students like to sit on a chair at a desk. These will give students more options to put their minds to work! Students that like to move around while working will be able to use these chairs and still be able to stay focused. The rug will allow students to sit and complete their work or relax and read their book throughout the school day. All students have different needs so these seating options will help with those student needs.
