This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third graders walk into the classroom everyday full of life, eager to learn, curious about the world and always ready to learn. In my class I have a wide range of student needs. Some students are learning to read and write in English, some students have disabilities, some are gifted students.

I want to inspire all my students to be the best everyday and I want to give them the best environment for learning.

I strongly believe that if students love to learn then they will be successful in the future. As a teacher, if I can provide motivational tools and resources to children they will be inspired to learn.

My Project

These high back chairs will allow flexible seating for students in my class. During the day students need a quiet place other than their desk to read or take a mindful break.

Having flexible seating to take a mindful break or a quiet spot to read will benefit all students.

These chairs will give students the opportunity to have flexible seating when needed throughout the day. My students would use these chairs everyday.

Flexible seating will be an encouraging, nurturing place for all students in my classroom. I believe these chairs will be a positive place for students to access when needed.
