Flexible Seating

My students need two chairs to complete my classroom redesign of flexible seating. I have the tables I need, I just need two chairs to complete my goal! Thanks for considering.

My Students

I teach English to 6th graders in Kansas. My students are in their first year of middle school because our building is comprised of 6th - 8th graders. They are full of energy and so eager to learn at this age.

I have taught this age for 20 years because they are still sweet and a little dependent, yet they are very capable of doing a ton of learning on their own!

I am so passionate about middle school students, and I love what I do!!

My Project

Flexible seating is a new trend I have researched extensively. Students, by 6th grade, are ready to make decisions about their learning and how they learn best. Through my research, I have decided to redesign my English classroom into a more flexible environment.

I have utilized garage sales and furniture sales to purchase my tables, but I am still needing these two bouncy chairs to complete the transformation!

My students will benefit because of the flexible environment. There will be no more hair getting caught in the screws of their desks! (Believe it or not this happens often to some of my 6th grade girls, and it hurts.)
