This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have shown a strong interest in flexible seating in the classroom. Many times, my students will lose focus due to distractions surrounding them or the discomfort of their chairs. The projected outcome of providing students with a variety seating options allows them the opportunity to be able to focus and work in comfort.
These flexible seating options will provide students the opportunity to work in a comfortable environment while focusing on their learning outcomes.
These seating options are ideal for our reading centers and small group instruction on the carpet. I will be able to run small guided reading groups and have students engaged throughout the lesson.
