My Project

This flexible seating opportunity would promote a classroom environment where we can quickly and efficiently change small group sizes, large group formations, and easily move desks away from the walls where students complete group work at standing whiteboards. With different classes being taught from period to period, it is essential that we provide classroom equipment that can be as flexible as our lesson plan. The current space is limited with the amount of large rectangular desks and tables, and our access to the standing whiteboards has been a challenge with bags sitting on the floor around large desks and tables we currently have. The furniture in a classroom can send a big message as to what kind of thinking will happen. I want to continue to promote collaboration within my classroom , and I believe this seating opportunity will help push us further.
