My students need flexible seating throughout the classroom to encourage a positive learning experience that allows them to get their wiggles out. Balance balls and wiggle chairs will help develop this environment.
My students are kindergarten students ranging from 5-6 years old who have lots of wiggles to release. They are entering their school career in my classroom. They are always ready for fun and exciting learning!
They are truly AMAZING kiddos and are always full of energy - which I love to embrace!
My students are a diverse group of children and I strive to meet the social, emotional, and academic needs of each individual child. No matter their circumstances, I know that they are ALL capable of learning and growing!
My Project
Providing flexible seating opportunities for my students will allow them to feel comfortable while learning. I would love to be able to utilize balance balls and wobble chairs for students within my classroom because I recognize that all children have different needs while sitting and learning. These items would certainly help to meet some of those needs.
Flexible seating will create a strong classroom environment where my students can focus on their tasks.
Including balance balls and wobble seats in my classroom will give students comfort in knowing that they can wiggle and learn at the same time! Ultimately, flexible seating positively impacts each of my students and I would love to be able to provide them within my kindergarten classroom.
